Hi! Our names are Lila Doll and Toby. We are soft white fluffy bundles of unconditional love!
Boy oh boy life is tough . . . as you can tell in our photo we are catching a cat nap after just getting home from a terrific walk. There were so many sounds and smells - we tried to take it all in - now we're resting for our next adventure; hopefully with you. Now read below for a little bit about us!
I (Toby) am a male Bichon Frise cross and I (Lila Doll) am a female Bichon Frise cross - just check out my beautiful ears and tail. By the way I love to have my ears rubbed. Because our age doesn’t really matter to us – we love to play and romp like youngsters – we don’t keep track of our ages; however our foster Mom tells us we are around 4 1/2 years old. We were rescued together and have lived together for what seems like forever so we will need to be adopted together. We just cannot stand the thought of being separated. We love going on long walks, having our bellies rubbed, cuddling with each other and our foster family, and playing with our foster family brothers and sisters. We get along very well with our foster brothers and sisters. We would do best in a home with a loving family with older children because sometimes young children play too rough with us and it really scares us. There are no cats at our foster home so our foster Mom doesn’t know how we act around them. We have both been ‘fixed’; however we aren’t really sure what this means because we have always thought we were absolutely perfect. Our foster Mom told us that being ‘fixed’ is a good thing so that no one can take advantage of us any more. We have both been micro-chipped and are up to date on all of our shots. We just love the doggie door because it gives us the freedom to go outside to take care of business or nap in the sun and then come back in and curl up in bed for another nap. When night time rolls around we love to curl up in bed with our foster family for a long nights sleep. In order to maintain our beautiful locks and prevents matted hair we need to be groomed every 5 weeks. And for me (Toby) it is very important that I am bathed with a natural Colloidal Oatmeal shampoo and rinse. I have very sensitive skin and if any other shampoos are used I become extremely itchy and uncomfortable. We love to be close to our foster mom and love being spoiled lap dogs! So if we seem to be what you're looking for, be sure to call the office to get in touch with our foster Mom to find out all about us! NMAF Office @ 881-7297
