Skippy is a wonderful 1 year old. This handsome Bichon Frise/poodle is a wonderful young man - he is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and has been newly groomed with a summer haircut - will get a new photo on line shortly - he is even more handsome than with his tight curls. His big plusses are that he is house trained to a doggie door, kennels without fussing, and is a non barker. His other companion manners are a bit rusty but he is enthusiastic to please and with good training will pick them up easily - we recommend a training program right away - a good bonding activity for the whole family
Skippy has a great personality, sweet temperament and loves his human and doggie friends equally - at night he sleeps beside his human friends with belly to the sky and legs outstretched - we wonder if he is comfortable, but the night passes and he is happy, rested, and ready to play when the sun rises - he is pretty good at walking on his
leash and enjoys his outings. For the rest of his day he runs, chases, plays, and snuggles for a rest with his large and small dog companions - he needs a 5' fence to keep him safe, but he shows no inclination to jump over his yard barriers - however, when he stretches out he is fairly long and could clamber over a lower fence. This boy is looking for a canine companion and a loving, caring and reasonably active human to share the rest of his life - we think he would be a great companion to a dog savvy child over the age of 8 years. He would be a good walking companion and could probably even learn some new fun tricks to keep him amused!
