Sadie
Email Alan at duhondmd@yahoo.com or call Brittany @ (505)974-6898 for more information about Sadie.
Sadie is a beautiful greyhound/shepherd cross with a wonderful brindle coat. She is about 2 years old and weighs around 45 pounds.
Sadie was rescued from a dangerous situation where she was shot with a pellet gun. Despite this, once she gets a treat she is your friend forever. She most easily adapts to women but is good with men once she gets to know them. She loves kids and could be a good protector of them.
Sadie loves squeaky toys but is not real good with loud sudden noises. She gets along well with other dogs with a careful introduction. She is also cat friendly. She can easily climb a chain link but a block wall is fine at 5 feet.
Once she is yours, she will want to sit beside you on the couch. She would prefer to sleep in your bed but you may want her to sleep on the floor next to the bed. Once she's done napping, she is ready to go for a walk or play in her backyard. Sadie does not like car rides and gets really nervous so will need a little patience until she gets used to them.
Sadie has had her evaluation with Matt the trainer at PetSmart. He has offered a free consultation with you as her adopter. He is eager to work with you for her training.
To see Sadie in action, she has her own Facebook page: Sadie the brindle.
