Heidi is a 5 year old terrier cross. She came to us with bite marks on her neck where she had been bit by a large dog. The Santa Fe Shelter/Humane had her spayed.

Due to her trauma she arrived very shy and traumatized. But she quickly warmed up and blended in with her foster brothers. She is very motivated by food and will bond quickly and easily to anyone who gives her a treat.

Heidi needs a calm household with respectful roommates. Small children would be too much for her. She would probably do well in an apartment due to her size and quiet nature.

She would probably benefit from some training. Once she gets bathed and groomed, her white hair will be easily kept and allow her sparkling personality to shine through.
