Annie Blue Eyes Date: 07/24/2007 Annie is a beautiful Lynx Point Siamese cross with blue eyes. She is a spayed female, DSH, 4.5 years old. Annie needs a foster home!

Personality
Annie has a sweet and affectionate disposition. She loves to play with a feathered wand or feline flyer, and enjoys being brushed and petted. She's a little on the anxious side and is looking for just the right home -- a calm family who will love her and be patient with her feline eccentricities and work through them with her. For instance, she has a history of wanting to hide in a cozy cupboard in the daytime and come out to play and socialize with her humans at the stroke of nightfall! (We were thinking that the Addams Family would be a perfect match!)

Social Profile
Her best animal-friend in her former home was a nice dog, and she's also very sweet with gentle young children. But we think she will do best in a quiet home with maybe one mature or gentle dog as a friend, but no children and probably no other cats (she likes some cats, usually young males). She tends to be on the nervous side, and needs her quiet space, which is sometimes hard for kids or playful cats to understand.

Medical History
She's on prescription diet because of a history of urinary tract sensitivity. She loves her canned C.D.!
Baby Date: 02/01/2008 Baby (I desperately need a foster home, too!) is a handsome neutered male who is mostly white with some orange tabby markings. Baby is litterbox trained and does not scratch on furniture if he has his scratching post. Baby loves attention, usually can't get enough. He greets everyone who walks through the front door and takes to them instantly. He loves to talk and plays with anything on the floor that rolls or makes noise. He loves to purr, and purrs loudly. Very sweet and lovable cat. His companion in his previous home was Bear, above.
Bear Date: 02/01/2008 Bear (Please, I need a foster home!) is a sweet spayed female with pretty gray and white markings! Bear is litterbox trained and does not scratch the furniture if she has her scratching post. She is a little shy when you first meet her but warms up quickly. She loves to be petted, scratched, and loves to be combed out. She is a very quiet cat, who hardly ever meows but purrs often. She loves to play with balls especially if they have bells. She is a really sweet and cuddly cat. Her companion in her previous home was Baby, below.

Candy Date: 08/11/2007 Candy is a 3-year-old spayed female. I began life as a kitten rescued from a feral cat colony and was quite feral until this past May when I began my new life at my foster parent’s home. My foster mom has trained me to come to her and be petted (especially if she has a treat in her hand – my favorite is canned tuna), but I really love a home with many other cats. I am not so sure I would thrive in a home with dogs since I have never been around dogs. My ideal home would have other feline companions and be patient since I am just beginning to understand that humans can also make great companions. Please consider adopting me if you can provide this type of forever family and home.
cassidy Date: 02/01/2008 Cassidy (Cassie) is a BEAUTIFUL 4-year-old black and white long-haired spayed female. What a loving cat! Friendly and outgoing--her favorite spot is at your side or right on your lap. Great at using her scratching post and litterbox. Cassie requires a special diet with supplements.

Inky Date: 09/14/2007 Inky is a 20-week-old neutered male kitten. Inky is an inquisitive black, short haired male kitten- a sleek little black panther! Inky can be shy at times but once he feels secure with his caretaker, he is ever so lovable. Inky has a lot of energy and loves to play! His brother is Tufty, below.

LaTinta LaTinta Date: 05/30/2008 La Tinta - 1 year old, spayed female, DSH (oriental short hair mix), Dark Tortoishell. La Tinta was rescued from the Albuquerque Animal Shelter after all of her kittens had been placed into loving homes. She walks on a leash and will oftentimes be at the adoption clinic sitting a top a cat tree. She gets along well with other cats and dogs. She is very playful and loves toy mice and fishing pole cat toys. She would make a wonderful addition to anyone's home: "I am a wonderful cat who gets along well with children, dogs, and other cats. I am very playful and my favorite toys are any feather cat toys. I walk on a harness and leash and I have so much energy that my foster mom thinks that my motto should be "Why walk, when I can run." My perfect home would be one that would give me lots of love and attention and play with me in the evenings."

Mamacita is around one year old (D.O.B circa 4/1/06), and is spayed. Cosette was born around 3/21/07, and is a gorgeous mackerel tabby with striking gray and black markings. "We love to play and we love being brushed! We are very attached to each other and do not want to be parted. Mamacita says: I hate dogs! I love people! Ophelia Date: 02/01/2008 Hello, I'm Ophelia, a 5-year-old medium-hair black kitty with huge, gorgeous eyes. I was found nearly entirely paralyzed but I am almost entirely recovered. I love to be picked up and cuddled and especially love sitting on laps. I love attention but I am not obnoxious about it. I am very gentle, and when I play I almost never use my claws. I would be a great addition to a quiet house with a small or very gentle dog, maybe another cat, or older children. I would especially be a great cat for retired people or people who work from home because I would keep you company all day long!

Ragmuffin Date: 02/01/2008 Ragmuffin is a sweet female gray and white medium-hair, one to two years old. She was rescued after being abandoned for at least 6 months. When we first found her she looked like a rag doll. She is very shy but will sit on your lap and purrs while being petted gently. She has very good manners and would love a nice, quiet home.

TomTom Date: 02/01/2008 TomTom, the Feline Ambassador, is a gorgeous 9-year-old neutered male. He is super-soft, buff color with white bib and markings. TomTom is a retired feline ambassador to the Albuquerque Public Schools humane education program who lost his home in October 2004 when his loving caretaker died. Super-loving, playful, outgoing and friendly, good with gentle dogs, must be the only cat due to a chronic health condition that is under control with a special diet and supplements. He has perfect litterbox habits and loves his scratching post. TOM-TOM NEEDS A FOSTER HOME!
