Cheetah - Adopted!
Cheetah is the brother to Diane and Moonie. This is what his foster mom had to say about him…
Cheetah is much larger than Moonie and Diane. He was born March 12th, 2011 and weighs in at 40 lbs, he should be 45-50 lbs full grown. He has long legs and a long slender face. His back is black, his chest a lovely white, his legs and undersides a honey color. He has a white stripe from his forehead down to his nose and the tip of his tail is white. I suppose he has a sort of coon dog look about him but to me he looks smarter...both intelligence-wise and appearance-wise.
Cheetah is definitely NOT an escape artist. He never tries to jump out of the puppy pen though two of his siblings (not Moonie or Diane) and his mother do all the time. When he comes up to be loved on, he's not a jumper. Cheetah is just a laid-back dog. He loves attention and his favorite way to express his love is with lots of lickings. He'll bathe an arm or leg or my face if I let him. He loves to lick.
Cheetah doesn't stay right with me when I let him out but he'll come as soon as I call him. He comes running as though he anticipates some delicious treat. He very good-naturedly goes back into the puppy pen when play time is over. He really is a very amiable fellow.
Cheetah also does well with dogs, cats and children. He lets me bathe him though he'll try to sneak away if he thinks I'm not holding him well. As soon as he feels my grip tighten he lowers his tail and accepts his fate. Unlike Moonie and Diane, Cheetah never forces himself into the house.
Cheetah's favorite way to play is to find something to carry around...the flea comb, the scrubbing brush for the water bowl, an old peanut butter container... anything! He prances around and tries to get his siblings to play keep-away with him.
