Dallas - Adopted!

Dallas is the sweetest bundle of cuteness this side of many places - he is just 1 yr old and weighs right on 7 lbs. His sad shy eyes reflect his disappointment that he was abandoned. He is still nervous from this experience, but is learning to trust humans in general and his foster mom in particular. He is playful with his doggie buddies, a non-barker, and is good about spending some time each day in his kennel. Apart from his sweet temperament and playful attitude towards life he is learning to trust people in general and is anxious to please the humans around him.

His strong points are that he is house trained, uses a doggie door like a champ, is good on his leash and enjoys his walks, is a big time player with all sizes of dogs and loves his toys - chew bones are also a favorite and he passes part of the day just checking to see if there is something particularly tasty inside one - he is never disappointed with the results - even when he doesn't find a flavored middle but never loses hope.

This boy had a rough start in life, but is mastering the art of giving and receiving love from his human and doggie friends, being cooperative, responding to manners training, and generally gaining a good understanding of his world - he is maturing into a great little dog, fun to be with now and with promise of a great dog in the near future.
