Emma - Adopted!
Emma is a 2-year-old retriever cross (w/ chow chow?). She was found very pregnant just after Thanksgiving under a bridge outside Gallup. A Good Samaritan stopped and she jumped into his truck. After a hamburger feast from a local fast food restaurant, they headed to his parents' home in Edgewood. On December 2, she gave birth to a very lucky litter of 7 pups. Most have found homes. NMAF is now look for homes for two black pups and the white puppy. They are 8 weeks old as of January 30. The puppies are female. Emma is a sweet dog who is reserved at first with new people but then warms up and enjoys playtime, cuddling and just being part of the family. She's housetrained and good in the house. She loves other dogs.
