Lattie is loveliness in a nutmeg colored fur that is wispy and soft - her amber eyes are always full of questioning and absorb every detail of her world - she is loving and gentle with people of all ages - used to children, but not toddlers - her house manners are excellent - she uses a doggie door - she is crate trained, sleeps soundly through the night, barks when she needs attention or sees a person or dog in her territory, loves sleeping in the sunshine and then entertaining herself with toys of various kinds, especially balls - she seeks attention from her human companions frequently and loves to just hang out with them - she loves to cuddle with you on your bed or couch and will sit happily on your lap or beside you on your reclining chair - walks are a favorite pass time and she is great on the leash - she prefers a harness to a collar - if you take her in the car she is well behaved and rides well in the passenger seat - although she comes to her name, she is not reliable off leash and must never be outside the house yard - if she escapes the house i believe that she will run (if only to explore) - a perfect home would be with a family, children 6 years or older, with time for her on a regular basis, and a compatible small canine companion - she came to us after having been abandoned by a family who had to vacate their home and move out of the country - after an horrendous experience at a shelter and narrowly escaping euthanasia, she delivered and raised three beautiful puppies who are just 11 weeks old - she is resourceful, tough, an attention seeker, gentle and sweet, and worth every ounce of love and attention that can be lavished upon her - she is at the adoption clinics every Saturday - check in with Elaine for more details on Lattie.
