Piper - Adopted!

Piper is a neutered male Whippet-Greyhound mix approximately 3 years old. ONE WORD - L O V E R ! Piper is a quiet, gentle, well-behaved, playful, handsome dog with beautiful markings. As evidence of his loving nature - check out the natural outline of a heart on his chest! He gets along well with other dogs but prefers the company of female dogs. He is not fond of (afraid of) other male dogs unless they are very laid back, and he also needs to be in a home without cats. Piper is a great house dog and is well-behaved inside, except that he does like to tear up his bedding. He will need a kuranda bed or something similar unless you don’t mind picking up shredded blankets! Piper loves attention, but when he’s not cuddling, his next favorite thing is to run fast. Piper would make a great hiking and jogging companion. He would love a home where he has plenty of exercise and maybe a calm female companion in addition to lots of time with his favorite people. Piper will be a completely adoring companion for a person who has a gentle way about them. This is a very sensitive, willing, and attentive dog and will thrive in a loving environment. He does have a high prey drive so if out hiking, walking, etc. He will always need to be on a leash in case he sees a bunny rabbit, squirrel, or a kitty. He can cover a lot of ground very fast.
