Rusty - ADOPTED!

Rusty is a handsome, healthy Britney Spaniel mix male, about 5 years old who is a real LOVE. He's a smart, friendly dog who wants human attention and affection. He loves to play and run. He is quiet; a non-barker. When he feels overwhelmed he will ask to go outside or will go inside his crate to settle and relax. Rusty really loves to be walked and walks well on a leash; after his initial excited pulling of joy to be going out again, he settles nicely into the walk. He never seems to tire of his beloved walks. Rusty does jump up on people as an exuberant "hello!" but loving pets on his ears, head and neck really satisfy him. Rusty enjoys sunning himself but does not like to stay out very long without you near by. He can use a doggie door to monitor his own needs and desires. Rusty will run if he gets the chance--do not give chase or he'll think that it is an exciting game and good exercise for both of you. Rusty's preferred home would be with a person(s) who have time to take him on daily long walks, play ball with him, and lavish him with loving attention like rubs, brushing, cuddling on the couch and the like. He would enjoy a dog companion to help alleviate boredom if left alone outside for long periods. [As with most dogs left without interaction or stimulation, boredom becomes their enemy and frustration their motivator to make the bad decision of jumping out of the yard.]

Rusty has no health problems, is neutered, UTD with vaccinations and is microchipped.
