Sugar - Adopted!

Sugar is a very sweet girl pit x who loves to give kisses. She's about a year and a half old and just as energetic as you'd expect for that age, so she'd be a good companion for someone who wants to stay active through walks or hiking. She walks fairly well on the leash because she wants to please her person. She wants to pull sometimes because she's curious and happy, so she has to be reminded to walk nicely, but if she were getting regular exercise, she would easily learn proper leash manners. She seems great with other dogs, although she doesn't get to play with them in her current life at the shelter. She seems curious and interested in them and makes all sorts of play gestures to other dogs when she's out for exercise. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested and vaccinated, so she should be ready-to-go for any potential adopters. She has been at the shelter since March 1 and her ID number is A1587315.
