Dot is a 10-month old, spayed female Treeing Walker Coonhound.

Dot is house trained, sleeps on the bed at night, and is reliable indoors. She uses a doggie door to come and go. She walks nicely on leash, knows sit, stay, and waits for a release word before eating. Dot is a chow hound and wants to scavenge from other dogs' bowls. This gal has a sweet temperament, loves her humans, and is a snuggler! She is still learning to not jump up on her humans to give full-body "hugs". Dot is good with other dogs and larger animals, cats, and children. Chickens are prey material to her. She is active, loves to explore and play. Dot is strong-minded and needs an experienced owner to nurture her through puppyhood and adolescence. Because she is a hound, she bays when excited or happy to see her humans return! A rural setting would be ideal home, although with daily attention and normal maturity baying will probably not be a problem.
