Leala - Adopted!
Leala is an adorable female, Terrier/Chihuahua mix puppy. She was born around the week of July 7th, 2012. She has short, tan, wiry fur with black on her back and tail. Her tail even curls up over her back into a full circle, it’s so cute!! She weighed 2.6 pounds on 8/11/12.
Leala is an amazing little puppy. She is outgoing and social with new animals and people. She attaches easily and loves to sleep on the bed with her foster mom. She currently lives with other dogs (varying sizes), cats, rabbits and turtles, and loves the variety. Leala loves stuffed toys and, being a young puppy, she takes a lot of naps during the day, and is very playful when she’s awake. She will need the basic house and leash training. She is not fond of the kennel but is learning that it’s a good place for bedtime.
Leala needs a kind family who will give her all of the love, attention, time, and training she wants, needs, and deserves. As she is a terrier, she will need plenty of daily exercise and maybe a nice yard romp and play in. She would do best with another playful canine companion, and she would love to be able to continue sharing the couch and bed with her new family.
Being a very young puppy, Leala won’t be going to the adoption clinics until her second round of shots. Look for her at her first adoption clinic September 15, 2012.
