Deuce - Adopted!

Deuce is a sweet, 6 year old neutered male with a lovely disposition. He is house-trained and will bark when he needs to go out. He understands the dog door, but is reluctant to use it around other dogs (afraid of an ambush?).

Deuce is excellent on leash and quite obedient. He adores people and is good with children. He really doesn't seem to care about other dogs one way or the other. He thinks he's a person. He is gentle and loves to cuddle. He likes squeaky toys and will fetch a ball enthusiastically. He sleeps with his people, often under the covers, and is rather lazy in the morning.

He loves to play outside, especially with water and mud. He helps with yard work, attacking the hose like it's a snake! Very cute!

He can be a little picky and doesn't really care for dog treats. He prefers people food. Duece is good in the car and comes when he's called. He's an excellent watch dog and no one comes in the house without him alerting you. However, he's not at all aggressive toward anyone.

He has a nice, tightly curled tan coat that is easy to care for (it does need to be trimmed occasionally) and he doesn't shed! He has shown no destructive behavior at all and even takes good care of his toys! He cries when he's left alone, as he loves to be with his person all the time. He sticks right with his favorite people in such a loving way. He would be a great companion for an individual or a wonderful family dog.
