Gunther - Adopted!
Email Alan at duhondmd@yahoo.com or call (505)297-2790 for more information about Gunther.
Gunther is the German name of a semi-legendary king of Burgundy of the early 5th century. Legendary tales about him appear in Latin, medieval Middle High German, Old Norse, and Old English texts, especially concerning his relations with Siegfried. So this is a perfect name for this regal dachshund cross.
He is super friendly to humans and getting along well with his 4 foster brothers. He likes to race around the yard in figure eights, toss his toys in the air and then collapse with a happy grin. He would like to be a lap dog but he weighs 22 pounds so will need a sturdy lap!
He likes the doggie door but needs basic puppy training as he is only about a year old. He is good in the car and likes to go for walks. He is sturdy enough for hiking.
Gunther has light eyes to contrast with his German chocolate coat with a couple of dashes of white chocolate on his muzzle and chest. He has a sweet kiss to match all that chocolate.
He likes to rough house and chase balls and so needs a yard and someone or a companion dog to keep him happy.
His foster would be glad to talk to you. Call Alan at 294 2790.
