Louie is a 6 month old poodle (born maybe April 2015?) who had been living outside in the elements. Luckily NMAF got him before the nights get too much colder. He is a happy and very active little boy wanting to be everywhere and into everything at all times! He is happiest with other dogs his size and playing with his toys. He will need an active household to keep him entertained and out of trouble.

He did really well with his first grooming. He learned how to run in and out of the doggie door with gusto! He will definitely need some basic puppy training. He only weighs 8 pounds and won't get much bigger.

Louie runs a little funny due to a harmless congenital abnormality, carpal valgus, on his front leg where the growth plate was interrupted when he was young. This does not slow him down and will not affect his future very much. He could care less. With weight control and joint supplements, Louie will live a long and healthy life!.
