All About Squirt

Tiny Squirt is a female, unusual brindle colored Chihuahua, approximately 5 years old and a petite 6 pounds, who is as cute as a button and chock full of personality.

Squirt is quite a heart stealer and an empathetic little girl - taking care of BFF Lily, grooming her and keeping her company, even at night, when they share the same crate (Read Lily's bio at NMAF). Her favorite spot is, of course, in your lap or cuddled close to your chest while she gives you kisses and adoring big-eyed looks. She loves to go for walks and her long distance stamina is quite good but she is also happy to ride tucked in your jacket or in a front facing backpack if you want to go farther than her little legs can manage. She has a happy, perky nature and is friendly with all people though, like Lily, is not comfortable around bigger dogs at first. She has adapted to her resident canine big brother very well so a bigger dog in the family can be managed given time & patience. She is often found snuggling up to him in a patch of sunshine. She should not live with cats or chickens according to her former caregiver.

Squirt is spayed, up to date on all shots and heartworm negative. She is house-trained and basically a very good girl having a playful and lively personality once she gets to know you. She loves to be kept warm and has become quite the fashionista of snuggly coats and sweaters!

Squirt and Lily are a true bonded pair, somehow through their former ordeal finding and comforting each other. While a home together is desired, it is not a requirement and consideration will be given to adopting them separately. Squirt is just as comfortable with men as women but due to her tiny size, should not be in a home with small children. Her adoption fee is $150 if adopted separately, or if together with Lily, $150 for both. Please consider looking at the pair together - Squirt and Lily make a great Team - all they need is you!
