Hi, I'm Oscar,

I was given the name Oscar because I was told that I deserve an award for excellence in behavior and attitude! I'm a very excellent little guy! I'm a "Chiweenie" which is a Chihuahua Dachshund cross....that makes me a very happy, easy going little dog. I weigh just under 10 pounds and I get along fantastically with other dogs of all shapes and sizes. I respect cats, we love to sniff each other.......they like the way I smell and I like the way they smell! They think I was born in 2008 so I have a lot of years left. Respectful children are cool and they smell good too!

My foster siblings taught me, very quickly, that it is politically correct to pee and poop outside NOT inside and that I will get more treats if I cooperate. I am very treat motivated so I learned that the first night in my foster home. I also cried a lot the first night because I don't know what happened to the family that told me it would be "forever", I just don't know what happened.

After I got a pedicure I discovered that I could run much faster romping with my buddies. I was promised that I will NEVER be a"daddy" again and that my new home WILL be forever, I am so happy!

I'm learning to behave in the car and not try to sit in the drivers lap. I like riding in the car because I've gone to so many very nice, happy places.. I came to NMAF, then I went to PetSmart , then to my foster home. I was very sad when I didn't see you at PetSmart! I'll be there on Saturday to see WHO gets to take home this Oscar!! Will it be YOU? I sure hope so!
