Otis is a strikingly handsome little guy. He is a cross between a beagle and a pug, we think. He has the colors and curly tail of a pug but the solid body of a beagle. He has the sweet dispositio of a pug and the voice and activity level of a beagle.

Otis loves to play. He will need a sturdy companion or a lively household to contain his energy. He loves to please and give kisses. At 25 pounds, he is a little large for a small lap but he would love to sit on yours. He gets along with people and dogs.

He will need a yard or someone who jogs or runs with him. He loves playing tug of war and will chase toys and balls willingly. He will need some basic puppy training but is eager to please and learn. He responds to a treat or quick pet. He will roll over in anticipation of a belly rub.

Otis rides well in the car and is OK in a crate.

He likes nothing better than stare into your eyes with his big brown, loving eyes.
