Peanutt - Adopted!
Email Alan at duhondmd@yahoo.com or call (505)294-2790 for more information about Peanutt.
The little Peanutt was returned to NMAF after 9 years when her owner suffered a devastating illness. Adopted as a puppy in 2006, Peanutt blossomed into a nice little lady. She learned her manners well.
She likes her harness and walks and drives in the car. She can burrow under covers with deft skills! Once there she curls up and is fine for a nap or a long sleep. She loves a warm snuggle.
While initially pretty shy, she quickly learned it is OK to have other dogs in the house and she gets along well with her foster sibling and the two resident dogs. She soon learned the doggie door but doesn't hesitate to ask to be let out the people door. Peanut has had no chewing episodes.
Peanutt would be fine in an apartment but probably shouldn't be around young children. She will bond very strongly to her new owner and has many years of active life left.
