Special arrangements for adopters out of Albuquerque must be made in advance, but out-of-town adoptions may not be possible. If you live outside of Albuquerque, please call the NMAF office at (505)881-7297 to ask about an out-of-town home visit before traveling to Albuquerque to attend an adoption clinic.
Cat adoption clinics are held at the PetSmart at 1424 Mercantile NE (I-25 & Montano) at the following times:
Tuesdays from 2:30 to 5 p.m.;
Thursdays from 12 noon to 2 p.m. & 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.;
Saturdays from 11 a.m to 4 p.m.;
Sundays from 12 noon to 5 p.m.
All our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered (kittens at 3 months), tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, current on shots, and microchipped.
