Effective immediately, NMAF has relocated their adoption clinic to the Petsmart on Academy and Wyoming, 8070 Academy Rd. NE, Albuquerque.
Dogs and cats available for adoption can be seen weekly at the following times:
Dog adoption clinics are held on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon.
Cat adoption clinics are held at the following times:
Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Sundays from 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Adoption hours are Saturday from 9:00am - 12:00 noon.

If you are interested in a particular dog you may want to call the office ahead of time to ensure that the foster family brings the dog to clinic that Saturday!
We appreciate your patience as we work to get all of our available animals posted on this website. Because not all are posted yet, know that there will be other available adoptable animals at the clinic that you will not see as of yet on the website!

Special arrangements for adopters out of Albuquerque must be made in advance, but out-of-town adoptions may not be possible. If you live outside of Albuquerque, please call the NMAF office at (505)881-7297 to ask about an out-of-town home visit before traveling to Albuquerque to attend an adoption clinic.
