Sweet and gentle Lacey is a demon when it comes to her fly toys. With a fast upward leap she bounds, topples off the bed, and springs up in hot pursuit of the elusive toy!
Her kittenish mew sounds as if she's trying to tell you something, and she is not soft-spoken!
Lacey takes great care with the litter box, aiming just right and covering her work. Speaking of work, she likes to work out on her cat tree when enticed with her favorite catnip and fly toy! A little tether-ball fun is good exercise.
In May Felicia, Lacey's mother, a beautiful flame point Siamese cross, gave birth to her second litter in a small apartment on Pennsylvania Avenue in SE Albuquerque. Felicia and her kittens received good food and kindness until the family was booted out in August. (No pets were allowed!)
Street Cat Hub neutered and vaccinated all the kittens in late August. Still on the street in October, Lacey was picked up, placed in a carrier, and came to live indoors with her big brother, Red. They both tested negative for FeLV and FIV. They get along well together and are now happy playmates with the resident cat!
Lacey likes people and wants to be petted on a regular basis. She reaches up to touch noses with her foster mom. It may take a bit of time for her to become comfortable in a new family, but your patience will be rewarded with a sweet, loyal, and beautiful companion who will blossom before your eyes!
PLEASE NOTE: Lacey is a courtesy listing only and is being offered for adoption by an individual. For more information or to meet/adopt her, please contact the person listed above.
