Luna is a beautiful black domestic shorthair with lovely green eyes. She lived outside in her early life but has enjoyed the indoor life for the last eight or nine years. Over the last year she has learned how to interact with the other cats in her foster home. For instance, she seems to want to share the bed at night, but she doesn't challenge the other cats. Luna should be happy as a cherished only cat or as part of a cat-friendly feline household. Here she is in her own words:
"I enjoy being petted, but sometimes I get over-stimulated, so it's best to pet me in short bursts. For instance, I love to sit in my foster mom's lap while she works on the computer. Elizabeth reaches down to pet me from time to time. This way, she can do her work without too much distraction while I enjoy snuggling up in her lap and getting just the right dose of occasional strokes."
"Until now, I have never had to share my home with other cats. I'm getting used to them, though, and as long as they don't hiss at me or try to snatch some of my food, I'm comfortable. They do hog the bed. I would like to share it with my foster mom, but I don't want to disturb them. I hope to be able to share a bed with my new family..."
You can visit Luna in her foster home and sometimes at adoption clinic. Please make a date to meet her!
