Ms. Red is a 7-month-old, 9 lb doxie who was rescued from a kill shelter after being dumped malnourished as an abused puppy. She wasn't gaining weight because the shelter was so frightening, so she came home with a volunteer for a couple of weeks to get healthy. Red is really sweet and is still kind of scared of new things because she hasn't seen very much yet. She would love a calm and patient home with someone who would love on her all day. Red came from a home with other dogs, so she should be good as long as properly introduced, and she prefers to eat away from other dogs. She has been exposed to cats and has shown no signs of aggression. She's a sweet girl who loves to sleep under the blankets with you and who deserves a second chance at love!
