Blackberry - Adopted!

Blackberry is a beautiful 6 year old, spayed female, long haired Chihuahua mix. She has gorgeous black and tan hair and weighs about 8-12 lbs.

Blackberry is a very shy little dog but, if you just sit down and calmly hold and pet her, she will give you some nice kisses as a thank you. She is great with the other dogs and cats in her foster home. Because she is so shy, Blackberry would do best with very respectful, or older, children. She loves being held, sitting on your lap and just being with you. She, like all dogs, wouldn’t mind have a nice yard to romp and play in but, with daily walks, apartment living would be just fine, too.

Blackberry needs a kind family who will give her all of the love and attention she wants and deserves. She will need some daily exercise and playtime. She would like to have another calm, yet sometimes playful, canine companion and she would love to continue sharing the bed and couch with her new family.
