Happy - ADOPTED!

Happy is … as Happy does! Happy got her name because she has the best disposition under any circumstance. Happy is a spayed female, 1-2yrs old, TerrierX, small-medium size weighing ~16lbs, with a “Yorkie” colored coat - multiple colors (silver, black and brown) that is soft-wirey in texture. She is housebroken, kennel trained, demonstrates good manners, and is beginning to understand commands. To date, there are no bad habits to report, but as you can see from the cast, she is an active, fun loving, and mischievous adolescent dog.
Happy is good on the leash and enjoys wild romps at the dog park or open space. Happy has so much energy that she was (pre-cast) often seen jumping over the top of sage brush and other dogs, she does a lot of rub/bump and run to solicit attention from any one and any thing that grabs her attention. She comes when called, knows how to sit, stay, understands the command “down” but is too excited to follow through every time. Happy would do best in a home with children, active parents, or other playful dogs. She does need a yard with a fence or wall that is at least 5-6ft tall as she knows how to jump and climb.
Happy is currently in a foster home with active parents, three dogs, and three cats. She wakes up each day ready for adventure and playtime. Happy engages all the cats with tail wagging and whining hoping to find a playmate, then she moves on to each dog until she can convince one of them that it’s time to rough-house. She shares her time between each human and after a day of “happy-times” she is quiet and loving in the evenings and enjoys chewing a bone or just laying on the floor and being petted.
Happy travels well; she actively watches the passing scenery and prods you to see all that she sees…with out being a distraction. Although Happy does not live with children, at the adoption clinics she is sweet to the little ones seeking to pet her, and greets all children with a wagging tail and nudges for pets.
If you are looking for a companion that can keep up with active lifestyles, or one who “plays well with others” Happy is the dog who will keep things fun and bring a smile to faces far and wide. Let her into your heart and you won’t let her go…she is a dog who adores everyone and every thing!
