Lilah - Adopted!
Lilah is one of the most gentle, large dogs ever! Sadly, her right front leg had long term neurological damage and necessitated amputation in February. Lilah has completely recovered and has regained her zest for life! She does well with three legs but will always need a vigilant owner to regulate her exercise so she doesn't overdo it. Her hair is silky soft and she loves nothing more than to lay her head over your thigh and remain there for hours while you stroke her head and ears. She will gently lean her body slightly into yours to be as close to you as possible. Lilah is obedient, very sensitive, quiet, and gets along with cats and other dogs. She does need slow introductions with new dogs because she can be easily intimidated.
This beautiful young lady is looking for a family that doesn't mind a dog who insists on snuggling, even to the point of getting under the covers in winter. Lilah is terrified of thunderstorms and should never be left outside during storms, Balloon Fiesta, or during fireworks like on the Fourth of July.
If you would enjoy a very dear, special friend like Lilah and you are that loving, doting owner she craves, please give Karon a call.
Call Karon Ely at 281-0330 (home) or 844-8283 (M-Th work) if you are interested in Lilah.
