Mattie - Adopted!

Mattie is a beautiful 9 month old, female Cocker Spaniel/Schnauzer mix. She has medium length black fur with some grey on her legs and a white spot on her chest. She weighs 16 pounds and as she grows into her adult body she will gain weight.

Mattie is an amazing dog! She is very sweet and loves to be with you, following you around the house and sitting on your lap. She loves to sit with you on the bed and couch for lots of love and pets and a nice cuddle, she will even give you lots of kisses. She can be a little shy but she calms down quickly. She is very active and love to run and play with the other dogs in her foster home. She isn’t a jumper or digger but, as she is young she can be a bit of a chewer at times.

Mattie loves people and is great with other dogs of all sizes. She is mostly house trained, she has some basic leash manners (she does best on a harness) and is working on crate training. She loves to go out for rides in the car and/or trips to the doggy park.

Mattie needs a kind family who will give her all of the love and attention she wants and deserves. She will need some basic obedience training, as well as, plenty of daily exercise and playtime. She would do best with another playful canine companion and would love to continue sharing the bed and couch with her new family.
