Noah - Adopted!
Noah is an older Chihuahua gentleman with grace, charm and a friendly, loving disposition - about 11 or 12 yrs old. He loves to be out and about - he loves a walk on his leash to smell the neighborhood almost as much as he loves to stroll in the garden and bask in a warm sunny spot - house trained, does not mark inside, knows how to use a doggie/puppy pad if he can't go outside and crates well - he is not able to use a doggie door as the door tends to be too heavy for him and painfully catches his back legs and feet - enjoys napping and sleeping under a bundle of blankets - he is not a barker, likes a lap snuggle or gentle massage, eats well - well socialized with animals and adults - NO CHILDREN UNDER 12YRS -
He enjoys gentle loving adults who respect his tiny size and handles him gently - he is never aggressive, but will yelp if mishandled - sometimes the luxating patella on his back leg pops out, but pops back in again quickly almost always by itself - this old boy is a loving, trusting and gentle soul with many years of love to give. He does best without carpet so it will not catch in his toenails or aggrevate his luxating patella.
Preferred Home: retired person or couple with time to enjoy this older gentleman and give him love and attention and a gentle stroll in the neighborhood - another friendly, preferably small dog companion would be great, although with an attentive human companion he would do well as an only dog - he could probably be trained to a potty pad and would then be fine in an apartment - If you would enjoy the companionship of a gentle, older dog, Noah would love to meet you
