Amber loves gentle kids!

From Amber's Previous Foster Home: Amber is an affectionate companion cat. She greets me when I return home as if she missed me. She follows me around the house until we settle on the couch side by side. She's very vocal and quick to learn adapting well to her foster home. She enjoys playing with her catnip mice. Most of all, she loves watching backyard birds. She waves her long, silky tail with excitement. "

If she could tell us her whole story, Amber would talk about the loving but irresponsible family who left her behind, unspayed, unchipped, uncollared, and on the street. Her people must have been nice to her in some ways, because she's grown up to be a trusting and loving companion; she comes when called and happily follows her foster mom around the house like a kitten.
Amber is now making up for hungry times while she was surviving on her own, and her formerly spritely form is filling in nicely. We think that she may have had a couple of litters of kittens before she showed up on the doorstep of her kind rescuers, Katherine & Bill. Now safe and sound, spayed and vaccinated, she is ready to come into your home and fill it with love!
