Miss Lulu - Adoption Pending!

Lulu is a darling female red toy poodle who is about six years old. She was a stray, who had not been groomed in some time and had not received good dental or physical care. When NMAF picked up Lulu for fostering she needed to have teeth removed and to be spayed.

Lulu needs a forever home with someone who has the patience and time to love and work with her. She is a sweet and loving girl who needs lots of love and care; however, she is not clingy and can assert herself when necessary. She has done well in her temporary foster poodle pack family. She wants to give a significant amount of love to her human every day.

Lulu walks well on a leash. She is a slow and thoughtful eater and cannot be hurried. If she is around other dogs she may passively let them eat her food rather than defend her territory. She would like to learn basic commands. She is very much a lap dog and loves to be with her human.
