Hi, my name is Chimama!
For several weeks I was seen crossing two extremely busy streets, both night and day in search of food and water. When I got pregnant, I then had to cross more frequently to take care of my pup. It appears I only had one puppy, however, being a puppy myself (probably born in early 2015 and weighing just over 8 pounds) my Angels could be heard saying "aye chimama!" each time I darted out in front of traffic.
Because the pavement was getting hotter and hotter and food was getting harder for me to find, I asked my angels to get in touch with New Mexico Animal Friends, I was getting tired and needed to be rescued!
I don't know why I played "hard to get" at first but on a wonderful June morning (at 2am!) I just couldn't resist the tasty morsels placed in a trap by NMAF. Aye chimama! that was good! Now I will never be a mama again and I will never be homeless again, thanks to NMAF!
It has been discovered that I am a very sweet little girl and still just a baby. I'm housebroken, I get along great with other dogs, I'm respectful of cats and I absolutely love to snuggle!
So here I am just waiting to be adopted. I asked my angels to send someone special to meet me at PetSmart. My angels and I would love to hear you say " Aye Chimama! That's the one for me!"
Feel free to call my foster mom Gloria at 505-720-3176 for more information about me.
