Sonya is part of the New Mexico Animal Friends new "Cat Nip" program. As such, Sonya will strut her stuff as the only cat at Petsmart with the dogs on Saturdays. Come meet and pet Sonya on Saturday! We are sure you will fall in love with her.

Sonya is a very intelligent cat, she responded very quickly to her new name. She is quite the chatterbox also, she says; "out", "no", "mom", "I love you" and "Mommy".

Sonya is friendly and loves to get your to attention so that you will pet her and scratch her head and back (by her tail). She loves to be near her owner within her own space and is respectful of your space too. If you want the entire couch to yourself she'll just find another place to lay but if you invite her to lay with you she is eager to snuggle. She loves to get treats throughout the day.

Sonya likes to play with toys once in a while but likes to spend a lot of time grooming herself so that she looks presentable for company.

Sonya is a wonderful cat and will fit in with any loving family. She adjusts quickly to new environments.
