Quin is an absolutely adorable black & white heeler mix puppy who has had a rough start in life, but it has not dampened her fun loving spirit one bit. Brought to our friends at VCA Wyoming, suffering from Parvovirus, having never been inoculated as a baby, she was treated by the caring Docs there and recovered quickly. Alas, her family never came back for her and she has now joined the New Mexico Animal Friends family to find her Forever Home. The perfect black & white split markings on her sweet face look like a medieval Harlequin, so Quin she became! Now safely in foster care with two big canine sisters to romp and play with, she is loving life. See a leaf blow in the wind - pounce on it, see a toy that begs chewing - run with it! Quin is full of puppy energy and antics but is smart and quick to respond. She will need a family experienced with raising an active puppy and would do best with an older canine sibling to show her the ropes. Quin should go to a family with school age children minimum as she is still an active chewer (fingers included!). She will need the benefits of a good obedience training program - ask us for a recommendation! She promises to be a medium-sized dog so will need a yard with a 5.5 to 6 ft. fence and room to run. As she is still a puppy and not finished with her shots or spay yet, ask us about our Foster-to-Adopt Program for puppies!
