This adorable little girl, named after the popular sparkling drink, is just that - a bubbly, effervescent creature - full of life and mischief . Found with her 5 littermates along a road in the south valley, abandoned in a crate and saved by a kindly vet tech, this girl wound up at the Bernalillo County Shelter, only to come to NMAF with 2 of her brothers (Simon and Rascal- already adopted!!) a few days later. She and brother Simon look quite different, but there is definitely Terrier of some sort in this girl - her scruffy face, black tipped chin, ears, back and tail along with her personality, all show it. She is typical of the Terrier breeds, inquisitive, playful and vocal when not getting your attention. She is loving - and generous with her kisses and loves to romp with other dogs her size. She should not be an only dog unless her family is stay-at-home. She will be a smaller girl when full grown - under 20 pounds and may be low shedding.
She has started on her shot regimen but will require completion as well as spay & microchip before her adoption is finalized, all costs covered by NMAF. She can go to her new home now - ask us about our Foster-to-Adopt program for puppies. Come see her at our Adoption Clinic at PetSmart, on Academy, Saturdays 10-1PM.
