Maxx is a happy go-lucky guy who likes everybody he meets! He originally came through NMAF 2 years ago and was adopted quickly due to his friendly and engaging personality. But alas, Maxx has one downfall - a strong prey drive that has had him develop a taste for the turtles, fish and frogs that live in his backyard so he needs to find a new home. Not his fault for sure, but given a new canine friend, some belly rubs and regular walks, he will adapt and make another family very happy. Maxx loves children and would do well with school age ones. Sit on the floor, he curls up in your lap, ready for a romp, he’s your man!!

He has gained some weight (unfortunately) since 2015, but that will easily come off with his new lower calorie food and some good exercise. Check out his athletic build in his 2015 photo - this is where he wants to be! His ideal home would be one with a canine buddy or two, no small critters roaming the backyard or in a pond to tempt his prey drive, and probably no cats (he does like to chase!).
