Bryce (aka Snuggle Bug, aka Happy Boy) is a 10 year old Papillion / Chihuahua mix who came to us from Albuquerque Animal Welfare. When he first entered his foster's house, he was timid and suspicious but very quickly became trusting and outgoing.

Bryce is very smart and soon became the ruler of the house. He is also a master of the doggie repertoire for manipulating humans, so he has to be handled in a firm (but gentle) manner. He is crate trained and house-trained. He walks well on a leash, allowing for plenty of sniff time. He doesn't play with toys per se but will play a stubborn game of tug of war.

Bryce is still leery of strangers, but contact with lots of humans who treat him kindly will help overcome that. So drop by our adoption clinic on Saturdays at PetSmart to say hello to him. You'll enjoy it and eventually so will he.
