Hi there!! My name is Chinle - cute, huh? I have a real story behind my name, though. I was found in Chinle National Park in Chinle, AZ by two nice ladies on vacation, Deb & Cindy, former adopters from NMAF. I was soooo glad to see them - I went running up to them right away. You see, my owners just dumped me out of the car at a tourist location - I guess so somebody nice could find me and take me home. The Ranger told them they had to keep me cuz' it was on the Reservation and they had already fed me. But really, I think I was just lucky. They brought me to NMAF on Saturday, August 24th, and I am now in foster care and loving life! I have a big brother that has a spot on top of his head like mine (Mom calls it an "Easy Button") and I am even the same colors! I am a typical puppy - full of energy and love to give kisses, and when I crash, I crash HARD! I am nearly crate trained and doing really well on my potty training, too. I love, love, love my food - I still don't realize I don't have to compete for it so would do really well with a slow-feed bowl. I have just started my puppy shots and will need some more as well as a spay & microchip, but that does not mean I can't go to my Furever Family. Ask NMAF about their Foster-to-Adopt program which covers all required medical care but still allows for adoption of puppies. I really think I need another playful dog in my new home as I don't like being alone. Would you like a cute, sweet puppy like me for your own?
