Decker - Adopted
Male
Red Tabby with White, Domestic Shorthair
Born 6/1/2014
Hi, I am Decker!
Question: When is a cat like a border collie?
a. When he is so expressive, you know just what he is thinking.
b. When he is so smart, he knows just what you are thinking.
c. When he’s so glad to see you come home that his entire body "smiles."
d. All of the above
In case you hadn’t guessed, the answer is d. All of the above! Always fun to be with, Decker is loving, kittenish, gentle, cheerful, mischievous, and agile. And, like a border collie, his I.Q. is off the chart! He is easy to handle, and was raised around dogs, cats, and kids. He is a cooperative cat, and simply walks right into his carrier on adoption clinic day! His coat is sleek, and he is handsome and healthy, except that he happens to have a chronic but manageable condition called megacolon. This condition stays under control with proper diet and daily medication.
Decker will tell you this: If you take me home, I promise to greet you every morning with a "smile," and let you kiss my head or my tummy when you pick me up. I would really like to find somebody to play with, maybe a friendly dog or cat, to gallop around the house with me! I love to chase and lob furry things, play hide and seek, and jump high and whirl around with my fly toys!
Would you like to take me home and see how much fun I am to play with?
