Hey there! Are you feelin' lucky! Well, I am one lucky little guy! I was found abandoned in Rio Rancho on March 10th - just around St. Patrick's Day near Intel. Really busy streets up there, but I survived the traffic hazards. I don't remember how I got there or where my family is, but the nice lady that found me looked and looked for my owner, posted signs & put me on Craigslist, Facebook, and PawBoost but nobody claimed me. I had no tags or microchip. After 2 weeks, I came to New Mexico Animal Friends and into foster care. These nice folks are going to get me neutered, a microchip, and a Heartworm test. I have had new shots so am good on that front. I am not looking forward to the "neuter" part but know it has to be done - it is the law and I want to be a good dog! I am about 15 pounds and look a lot like NMAF boy, Irving - just a little bigger! I am good with other dogs and am house-trained, I even met a cat in my last home and did OK with that. I am hoping to find a Forever Family that will love and take care of me - I promise to be a good dog! If you would like to learn more, contact the person above or come meet me at Adoption Clinic on Saturdays.
Because home visits are required, NMAF dogs cannot be adopted out of the greater Albuquerque / Santa Fe area.
