Contact Kate at kmolsbe@gmail.com or (505)291-9786 for more information about Brandy.
Brandy came to NMAF back in 2016 with two adorable little puppies in tow. Everyone was adopted by early 2017, but now Brandy needs to find another home as her mom has changes coming to her living arrangements and cannot keep her. Brandy is an example of NMAF's Lifetime Safety Net whereby we always take our dogs back rather than have them given away or worse, abandoned at the shelter. Brandy is still a happy and energetic little girl, has lived with a bigger dog the past 2+ years so is dog social and playful, though her focus is still on her human. She has gained a little weight and needs to lose about 4 pounds, but that can come with exercise and better diet. She must have some Pug in her as well as Chihuahua + Dachshund as she has the cutest little curly tail! She has learned a number of commands, sit, sit pretty, and shake and could learn more. At about 4.5 years old, she has lots of life and love still yet to give. She is house-trained, spayed, up-to-date on shots, heartworm tested, and microchipped so is ready to go! Come meet this little cutie pie at our Adoption Clinics on Saturdays.
Because home visits are required, NMAF dogs cannot be adopted out of the greater Albuquerque / Santa Fe area.
