Hi Everybody!! My name is Irving!! My new foster dad says I look like a scruffy, older, wise and kind man, and he named me after his favorite author, Irvin Yalom. I kinda like the name as it makes me different, and I sure love being that! I came from the Bernalillo County Shelter as I was picked up as a stray - not sure how I got to be that way because I am such a little guy (10 pounds) and it sure is scary on the streets! I really did not like it in the shelter - and was really scared, but since I came to my new foster home I am starting to relax, wag my tail when I see my foster mom & dad and learn how nice it is to cuddle on the couch!! I really, really love treats and that is a great way for you to get me to like you... More updates will come on me as my personality is still emerging, but I am glad to be out of that place for sure!! I still have to be neutered, get my microchip and get a Heartworm test, but that will happen on Feb. 22nd and I will be ready for my new life after that!
