Jenny was recently surrendered to NMAF as she was too much energy for her senior owner who adopted her from the Albuquerque Shelter in February. She is an absolutely beautiful girl, with a soft silky coat and beautiful markings (she has tan freckles on her legs so may have some Heeler in her along with her Papillon). She has a higher energy level (as she is still a puppy...) and a bit of separation anxiety which we are working on and can help her Forever Family with. She is up-to-date on all her shots, spayed, microchipped, Heartworm tested (Neg) and on preventative. She has completed one round of obedience training at PetSmart so knows some basic commands and is very treat motivated which will help with her further training. She would be an excellent candidate for agility training as her legs are longer and she is a great size at 17 pounds and super smart. She will need plenty of exercise to keep her calm and happy. Her ideal home would be with a family with older (>10 years) children and another playful dog, or with an active retiree (and another dog) that can give her the company and attention she needs, or someone that works from home who has the time to walk and exercise her daily. She will be at Adoption Clinic at PetSmart on Saturdays. Come meet this beauty and fall in love!

Because home visits are required, NMAF dogs cannot be adopted out of the greater Albuquerque / Santa Fe area.
