Loki was a youngster when he was found in the back woods of the Kiamichi Mountains in southeast Oklahoma. He came around begging for food. A kind family borrowed a trap from the local humane society, and Loki walked right into the trap and their lives. They moved to Albuquerque and brought Loki with them; but their pet family is bursting at the seams, so Loki needs to find a new home.
Loki is playful, fun-loving, and mischievous. He's an explorer of places that are off the beaten track (like the attic). He finds sleeping spots that are out of the way, like behind the clothes dryer. Sometimes he invents games with household items that were not designed to be cat toys - like a roll of toilet paper in need of shredding. . . He is sometimes insistent when he wants attention and tries to give love nips. (We are discouraging this behavior.)
Loki is dog-friendly with cat-friendly dogs. He gets along with other young male cats but may be too rambunctious for companionship with older or timid cats.
Loki's a good conversationalist, and he will keep you entertained with his youthful vitality, sense of humor, and his colorful imagination!
