Hey there! My name is Porter (just like the beer - dark & smooth...). My sponsor, Kate, says I am the poster dog for what happens when a great dog loses their home because of not having a microchip! If I had had one when I got lost, I am certain my family would have come to find me because I am such a good dog! At just over 13 pounds, I am the perfect size for playing, romps, walks, and cuddles. I like to play with other dogs my size but am not intimidated by bigger dogs if they are calm and gentle. I love, love, looooove the snow, diving into it, eating it and just generally turning into a snow puppy! I am not overly fond of small children - just unsure but could manage bigger kids if they are gentle. I adore going for walks, my tail plume held high and waving in the breeze! I sleep in a crate and will go to the door to let you know I need to potty, though I think I would like a doggie door. I am fully vetted - up-to-date on all shots, microchipped (Yeah!!), neutered, and have had a Heartworm test (Neg) and am on preventative. I am just waiting for my new family to find me! I can do meet & greet visits at my Foster Home if you want to meet me sooner than Saturdays at PetSmart. Just call my Sponsor, Kate, to arrange it!
