Meet handsome Sebastian! This little guy was recently returned to NMAF after his owners had to move into a Care Facility. Adopted at the age of 6, he is now 13 and left adrift without his home and feeling quite lost. He is the perfect example of why owners who are not "spring chickens" anymore should make plans in the event of loss of health or life for their animals. No one in the family wanted this little guy who is perfectly adorable - so sad for him. Sebastian still has a lot of life and love in him - he appears healthy, was neutered and microchipped under NMAF before he left us, and is up-to-date on vaccinations. He will get a vet check and Heartworm test as soon as it is feasible. He still has a shiny, healthy coat and appears to get on well with the other dogs in his foster home. He follows his foster mom around seeking reassurance right now due to his abrupt change in circumstance and loves to just snuggle next to her on the couch (or in bed...). He would make a perfect companion for another senior who has the foresight to make plans for him in the event their health changes. He promises to be a good boy and bring love and cuddles to your life for the rest of his own.

Because home visits are required, NMAF dogs cannot be adopted out of the greater Albuquerque / Santa Fe area.
