The three sisters - Lily, Violet, and Petunia - were stray puppies found in a remote area of Moriarity. There was a home nearby that was abandoned and it is believed that one adult dog and the puppies were abandoned there.
They all lack socialization and had to be trapped to be rescued. The adult dog thought to be their mother turned out to be their father and has been trapped also. It is not known what happened to the mother. Fortunately, she protected and nursed her pups to an age that they could survive.
These shy, sweet pups are slowly learning to trust people. They are not quite ready for adoption but will be coming to adoption clinics to help with the socialization process.
The pups are happiest when around other dogs. This is when you get to see them act like happy, playful puppies. They just wag and wag and pounce.
These puppies are a work in progress. They will not be ready for adoption until the beginning of the New Year. We will update their profiles with their progress and more about their personalities as we get to know these precious little girls. We are so happy to have them in our program and look forward to finding just the right home for each of them.
UPDATE: We have determined that both Petunia & Violet must have at least one other friendly dog in the household. Both pups learn from other dogs, and seeing their canine friends trust humans helps tremendously. These pups cannot be adopted together, however, as their feral behaviors will return.
