Like his namesake in the Artemis Fowl book series, Butler likes to assess a situation before jumping in. But it doesn't take long for him to move in, and when he does, it is with the confidence of a lion. He has made friends with the larger cats in the house, especially Benjamin. He is expected to be a beautiful medium-haired cat. Despite his rough start on the streets, he assumes everyone will be his buddy. He has not yet encountered any dogs, but is likely to assume they are just a new kind of playmate.

Like his sister, Juliette, Butler has excellent manners with the litter box and scratching post.
